Project Notes: I really can't say enough great things about this pattern. I loved making it, and I love how it came out. It knitted up much faster than I thought it would, just about 3 weeks I think. The Silk Garden made it really addictive to knit though because I was always wanting to knit more just to see what color came up next. I didn't check my gauge before knitting, and it must have been a bit off because I had to knit 8 tiers more than required to get the proper length. It's also a few inches narrower than the pattern stated, but I haven't blocked it yet. The only other modification I made was to the knotted fringe. I shortened it a bit, and did only five rows of knots instead of seven. I'm not very tall, and having the fringe as long as the pattern called for was a bit overwhelming on me. If I could afford more Silk Garden I'd make another in a second!
