These were both made for friends for Christmas. I believe that both the main fabrics are a Michael Miller print. This pattern was extremely quick to sew, but I'm not sure if my fabric choices were appropriate for this style of bag. It seems like the handle would do a little better with a stiffer fabric. The only modification I made was to add some bias tape around the handle openings to finish them off a little more neatly and to make them a little sturdier. The great thing about this pattern is that is uses very little fabric as well. I definitely have enough left over to make another purse of each print.
