Organic Baby Blanket

Notes: I knit this blanket for my boss, who wanted all organic clothing, bedding, etc. for her baby to be. The color is not very interesting, so I tried to use a textured stitch to make it look more exciting. The center of the blanket is made up of a very simple stitch called Polperro Laughing Boy, and the boarder is seed stitch. The whole blanket is about 30"x40". The very natural yarn was not my favorite to work with. It was a little rough until I washed it, and because of the lack of processing, there were a ton of little grassy pieces stuck in it which had to be picked out periodically. After knitting this, I am vowing not to stick to crochet for blankets, unless I use a very chunky yarn. I really have no patience for projects that take so long and are also so monotonous.
